2 Chainz aka Tity Boi, half of Playerz Circle duo that made the song “Duffle Bag Boy” a summer classic, is back with his solo project titled T.R.U. Realigion. Already a favorite of many, this Gangsta Grill mixtape hosted by DJ Drama is now offered on iTunes.
This mixtape would be appreciated by young adults, smokers and pre-teens. Every track is similar in beat and verbal structure. It follows the same formula as “Spend It” (I’m riding around and I’m gett’n it), the first single featuring T.I, a great beat and a catchy hook, that makes you want to dance. Tracks like “Vi-Agra”, “…I be going hard! Vi-Agra,” would not satisfy hip hop enthusiast because of the lack lyrical content. Some notable tracks for my smokers; “Got One”, “ Understatement”, “Turn Up”, “Slanting Birds” featuring Young Jeezy, Yo Gotti and Birdsman, “One Day At A Time” featuring Jadakiss and “K.O.” featuring Big Sean.
T.R.U. Realigion is a good mixtape but not for everyone. It falls short of substance and lyrics for most hip hop enthusiasts who are bias against this new youth wave hip hop. Some artists are necessary regardless of delivery. So get use to hearing the name 2 Chainzzzz because he's going hard - Vi-Agra!
