Rick Ross returns with some more of that “Whoop!” “BMF, MC Hammer, 9 Pieces,” music with his new mixtape, Rich Forever. This is the prequel to his fifth upcoming album, "God Forgives I Don't.” His third installment (mix tape) surpasses the other two predecessors, Ashes to Ashes and Albert Anastasia, with a million plus downloads it’s already an underground classic and a must have for Rick Ross fans. Rich Forever is one of his more cohesive mixtape comprised, one that you can play uninterrupted from beginning to end. Every song is a hit. It’s a collection of 19 songs, excluding a London skit and an interview with Shaheem Reid. From the intro the mixtape takes off like a bolt, one will be unable to get pass the first four songs. Ross unassault beings with” Holy Ghost,” featuring Diddy and continues with” High Definition,’” a monster track that will have you mugging like your listening to Face (Scarface). On “Yella Diamonds,” Ross goes in relentless, “…I can’t hold back all these Haitian ni__as/ you know they talking home invasion ni__a/ seeing your daughter scream can be very persuasive ni__a/ first question, where the safe at ni__a/ all in ya woman face f _ck up her make n__a.” Even though the majority on the album is hard hitting, songs like; “Rich Forever” featuring John Legend, “Mine Games” featuring Kelly Rowland and “Ring Ring” featuring Future, will definitely have the ladies singing and the fellas saying “that’s my girl joint right there.” Midway through, Rich Forever takes an up north trip. Here we witness the reemergence of (It Was Written) Nas on “Triple Beam Dreams,” one of the highlights, “picturing piping out the seats of a Pathfinder/ powerful pursuit for pu$$y, ca$h, to flash diamonds.” A champagne toast is offered when dope boys celebrating after grinding on “Keys to the Crib,” featuring Styles P. Another notable song, “Stay Schemin,” featuring Drake and French Montana, appears at the end as the mixtape mellows out and comes to a close. Rich Forever is certainly street certified and above par than most certified albums. The mixtape host an array of stars ranging from Nas, Drake, Diddy, Pharell, John Legend, Kelly Rowland, Styles P, Birdman, Wale, Meek Mills, Stalley, 2 Chains, Future and French Montana.
